Conditional Format not apply to entire table

Question

Hi all, 

I have set a conditional format and would like it applied to the entire table. It doesn't want to apply to any new rows without a format paint done. Not sure how to tell the conditional formatting to apply to a table rather than a range of data?

There are several columns that have conditional formatting, I've attached a screenshot of one instance along with what the conditional format rules manager looks like. I don't know VB, but use the GUI to set these conditional formats. In the below screenshot I've just inserted a new row by tabbing from the last cell in the table, and you'll see the formatting doesn't apply automatically.

I was looking for a way to name the table and apply each rule to the table name rather than a range. But I could be wrong too :-(. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

Conditional formatting is not working on the last row because that tis being treated as a Total row.  Click on any cell in the Table and go to Table Tools > Design.  Uncheck the Total row checkbox there.  Now right click the any cell in the last row and delete that row.  When you now add a new row, conditional formatting will work as expected.

I do not have problems with this but your screenshot shows the use of single quotes, try double quotes.

Hi,

I had a look to it, my first impression is that you have too many CF's to be manageable. Second thought is that the ranges are not correct. It would lead too far to analyse all CF's.

Can you list all the conditions you need and I'll give it a try.
