Excel: cursor location is wrong when typing

Question

When I enter text into Excel the cursor is not shown in the correct location it is either a little ahead when entering in the formula area at the top or a little behind when entering directly into a cell. Is this a common problem? Is there any solution? Problem only seems to be in Excel, Word is fine.

FIXED.  The update to version 15.13.1 (150807) has resolved this issue for me.

I have this problem it is the same across 3 different versions of MacOSX. ANd no update resolves the issue. It is really awful, I lose at least 15 minutes every hour with cursor problems. The screen jumps, and the cursor sits between 2 fields while the active field is entirely different, generally 2 fields above where the cursor indicates. I can fix this temporarily by going to the extreme bottom left or right field, but as soon as the screen jumps, the problem resumes. Also when scrolling between pages the next page is blank. The data shows after a few moments, but it is impossible to look at fields on adjacent pages.

THIS NEEDS TO BE CORRECTED> I SPENT A LOT OF MONEY TO RUN MY BUSINESS ON THIS PLATFORM AND IT DOES NOT WORK.
