I've asked before but never got an answer. When I insert a video embed code which works in other platforms, I see:

"This HTML cannot be inserted because this type of content is not allowed."

Surely someone from Msft's huge staff can clarify exactly what will work and what won't? I'm tired of explaining to people that a video may or may not work and it's a massive waste of time.

    Hi Mchv2.0,

Regarding "all domains are allowed", do you mean you have added the domains in Site Settings > Site Collection Administration > HTML Field Security > Allow iframes from this domain?

If yes, could you please check whether the following test script can be added into the page? (Edit page > Insert > Web Part > Media and Content > Script Editor > EDIT SNIPPET > paste the following code  )

    <iframe width="480" height="270" src="https://www.ustream.tv/embed/recorded/40949595?html5ui" scrolling="no" allowfullscreen webkitallowfullscreen frameborder="0" style='border: 0 none transparent;'></iframe>

Meanwhile, to help identify whether the error is related to the specific code, we would be appreciated if you can share with us the code in the workspace.

    Thanks,

    James

Panos - yes, all domains are allowed.

Ryan - the code is generated by the embed tool - why do you want me to share it? Please just answer the question I asked.

A shot in the dark but a shot nevertheless; have you added the domain on the allowed list for the iframes?
