Problem Setting up: Error 2810

I was using Office 2016 preview with no problem for about one month.  The expiration was given to me of 180 days.  I fired up Word and all of a sudden it locked me out, saying my trial period was over.  I tried many times to sign in, and it simply would not let me.

So I uninstalled Office 2016, and I've tried to setup 32-bit several times and I keep getting an error:

Client Update Needed. Go Onlline for Additional Help.

Error Code 0-1028 (0)

And I can progress with the install.  I always turn off  Real Time Protection  of the Antivirus via Windows Defender.

Thanks in Advance.

I've seen this problem in MSFT Answers, Technet & 3rd party forums ever since 2016 TP was available.

Here's what worked for me. I did a manual uninstall of Office. Please backup reg keys and subkeys when you delete.

I tried the Fixit tool several times; it was no help for me--no doubt it helps some.
