So, I wanted to put a sound effect in my excel, so I went to Developer tab and added an ActiveX Windows Media Player Object

After the object was there I altered the URL to that of the sound archive I wanted to play.

Thing is, now I can't hide the object, I cant move it, I can't even select it.

I gave up on the sound and just want to delete this nuisance, someone knows how?

(Here follows an illustrated guide on how to do this big mistake, the final one showing the thing I can't get rid of)

Still didn't work on selecting the object

Before you can select an ActiveX object you have to switch to Design Mode as your 3rd picture shows:

Click that button, then you can select and delete the control.

    Andreas.

Still didn't work on selecting the object, but at least now I was able to hide it, which already helps.

    Thanks ^^
