I have a spreadsheet where half of some cells are formatted to be font size 7 regular, the other half font 7 bold.. Its all OK until I close the spreadsheet and reopen it. Then half the cell (BOLD) changes to font 10, whilst the other half keeps the font 7. However I save this it keeps doing the same. This only happens when I open the file from the desktop (shortcut). If I open Excel first then open the file from within Excel the fonts keep the original formatting. Very strange? Can anyone explain why the problem happens only when opening the file from the desktop? Can it be solved? I am using Excel 365 2016

I would just like to note that I am an MSP, and I have two clients that are also experiencing this issue. Also with Excel 2016, also started happening within the past couple of weeks(late September update). I am happy to provide as much info as you need to get this tracked down.
