SharePoint files not syncing correctly

Hi Ran,

I am now having a second issue with Sharepoint. Sharepoint is supposed to be mapped to my File Explorer so that I can open a file within it, work with that file, then save it and it will automatically upload to Sharepoint. 

With that being said, I'm experiencing the following issues with Sharepoint files:

1. I cannot open the file directly in Sharepoint online (I can only work with the file within the browser).
2. The Sharepoint file mapping is completely messed up within File Explorer. Specifically, the files I see in file explorer are duplicative and do not match what's on the actual Sharepoint site. Please see attached images.

Please advise.

Hi Jacob,

I would like to confirm, if the blue part is synced with OneDrive sync client while the red part is using the mapping network drive? Because you mentioned you use the mapping network drive feature in your last reply, I tried to move a mapped folder to under the OneDrive sync folder, it will show like this, just like it is a subfolder. So, to confirm that, you can try to drag the “Legal Copliance – Documents” folder down to another position to see the result. If this is OneDrive sync folder, you are not allowed to move it. If this is mapping network folder, you are allowed to move it.

Please confirm that so we can move forward to the next step.
