Conditional Formatting for Access 2016

Question

I have a text box with this control source:

=IIf(Date()>[Due Date] And [Progress]<100,"Late"," ")

I then want to use conditional formatting to make it red if it is Late

I'm trying "Check values....." and selecting "Field Value is"  Equal to "Late"

Then setting the colours to red

This is not working.

Any ideas?

Hiya - did that.  No luck.  I wonder if it is not capable of doing conditional formatting on text boxes that already have an expression in them?

I cannot reproduce the behaviour which you are experiencing.  I've conditionally formatted a similar control, basing the formatting on both the value of the control and on the original expression.  In both cases it works as expected.

Does the conditional formatting dialogue still show incorrectly, or does it look the same as in the image I posted earlier?  If the former, it suggests that there might be corruption of the conditional formatting mechanism.
