Hello ,
Based on the latest feature of Excel support in ADF v2 in source, whne we try to leverage that functionality for converting an excel file to CSV we are stuck in a below situation:

In excel a column value is displayed as:
-1.36282E-05
But the actual value is : -0.0000136281724852376 when we click on that tile in excel.

While converting from Excel to CSV , we want the actual value rather the displayed value in the CSV file.

Is there any property we can set by which we can achieve this or is this is know bug in ADF v2

    Hi @Nandan Hegde ,

Sorry for the delay in response. This is identified as a bug in copy activity and seems there is no workaround with copy activity at the moment and I'm working with ADF engineering to fix this at the earliest possible. In the meantime the only possible way to overcome this issue to use Mapping dataflow and use a Derived column transformation to convert data type double to decimal as described in below screenshot.

Hope this helps. I will followup with engineering team and keep you posted as I have further updates regarding the fix.

Apologies for the inconvenience caused due to this issue.
