How do I re-activate the Export button in the Developer tab to export an xls spreadsheet to xml format?

    Hello KerryMurphy. Try this. Click File > Options > Customize Ribbon on the left. Now look over to the right and you will see Developer. Please check it.

    Hi Kerry,

    Those buttons are for working with XML data

    If your spreadsheet doesn't contain XML data then the export feature won't be available.

    Try File - Save As - XML Data

    It's an excel spreadsheet that I'm exporting as XML.  I can't ungrey the Export button.  I do this same project 2x/year and did not have an issue in January.

    I did that.  And XML is checked.  Whet I hit the plus button, export is greyed out.  :

    Are you saying that even after you import an XML file, that Export is greyed out?
