when did they disable ctrs+p for printing? it does not work for me on ANYTHING, browsers or office. how do i get it working again?

when i press crtl+p nothing happens. no messages no screen changes, it just sits as if it was never pressed.
"Common bug" - where did you get that from, presumably a Google search :(
