Open Dialog box on an unsaved excel file doesn't go away, no matter what I do. This is really annoying as I have unsaved work and will have to close the excel and would loose the most recent changes. It always come back no matter if I press "Esc" or "Cancel" or "X"

I won't run the repair as problem occurred due to one messed up Add-in, problem hasn't occurred so far. Microsoft needs to file a bug and work on it. I can post here as soon as the problem occurs again, not sure how will that help too
Hi Ankit,
Sorry for the inconvenience caused by this issue.
To troubleshoot this issue, I'd like to suggest you use Easy Fix Tool to uninstall Office and then install it again to check if you can use Office normally. Please have a try and share with me your result.
