Shared files missing

OneDrive shared files no longer appear on the computer File Explorer...can anyone help?

    Justin,

    My boss shared the folder again. The shared folder appears online but, there is no option to sync to folder.

    Hi Helpwanted_200,

    Thank you for the update. Based on your description, the file is shared with you. As per our test, we can't sync a single file that's shared with us. However, your co-worker can create a folder and share that folder with you and follow the steps we provided above to sync it to your computer.

    Justin Hello,

    My coworker and I shared the file/document again two days ago. I have opened the shared link several time and still, the shared document opens online, BUT, it does not give an option to add the file/document to the computer. Nor, is the file showing in file explorer under OneDrive (and it cannot it be found with I complete a search.

    Things that might be helpful to you:

    1. File was once showing on my computer under OneDrive in file explorer.
    2. The file no longer appears under OneDrive in file explorer where it is most efficient for our purpose.
    3. I am a recent new employee for this business and I sign-in to Microsoft under my name instead of the precious employee whom I replaced. NOTE: If I sign-in with the previous employee's name the file does NOT appear in file explorer with that Microsoft sign-in either.

    Hi Helpwanted_200,

    Can you still see the folder in Shared with me tab in OneDrive Online? If so, open the folder and sync it again by clicking Sync. See if it will sync normally.

    If the issue persists, we would like to confirm when did the issue started to happen? Did you make any changes on your computer prior to the problem?
