    Hi Linda,

If the user is an Admin, the user should see a OneDrive Admin link at the bottom of the left pane in the OneDrive Online. Please see screenshot below and see if the admin is on the same page.

Click the link and it should take you to the settings page like the one below.

Please let us know if your Admin can already see the Sync setting. Otherwise, provide us some related screenshots of the issue and your OneDrive page.

Note: Mask all the sensitive information before uploading the screenshots.

    Regards,

    Justin

    1. When the folder was initially sent to me several weeks ago, I was able to sync it AND it appeared in the file explorer (where it is most useful and easily accessible).
    2. NOW, it no longer appears in the file explorer. I need to access it from the file explorer.
    3. Can you tell me why the file folder disappeared from the file explorer under OneDrive on my computer (not online)? I did not delete it. Where did it go?
    4. Sharing the folder again does not give an option to sync nor is the admin able to change settings  to sync and there is no menu for her to change the setting.
    5. Where is the shared file that once appeared on my file explorer? (it's not in recycle or the trash)

Settings do not appear on the Admin's page.

The HELP page layout that appears online has many more options to choice from. Such as the options of setting you speak of do not appear to the admin.

    There is no settings button.

It is very clear our OneDrive format does not have what you are suggesting.

    Hi Linda,

To sync the folder to your desktop, please follow the steps below:

    1. On your OneDrive Online page, click Shared
    2. In Shared with me tab, you should see the shared folder

    1. Click on it and the folder should open to a new tab
    2. Click the Sync button on the menu at the top

If you still can't see the Sync button, the feature might have been disabled on the OneDrive settings. To enable it, ask your Admin to go to OneDrive Admin Center > Sync then make sure that the "Show the Sync button on the OneDrive website" is checked.

    Regards,

    Justin
