I have been testing using microsoft forms for collecting stats. I note that the only way to can clear the data previously collected is by deleting it. Is there any way an archiving function could be added so we can refer to it later if required? We often need to analyse results and contact customers for feedback.

Hi Ceri,

Thanks for your support to our product.

We totally understand your requirement that you want to access and analyze previous responses of these question. Unfortunately, Forms doesn’t have archive function for now. But as a workaround, you can export the responses as an Excel document after you collect the responses of customers. When you click the Open in Excel button, it will create and download a .xlsx file automatically. You can store these data in this way so that you can check them in the future.  Then, you can delete these responses and let customers votes again.

However, we think your idea is helpful for us to improve our product. We suggest you vote this idea in Forms UserVoice, the related team will adapt high votes idea and keep bring better using experience. Your vote may turn this feature into reality and benefits more users.

Appreciate for your understanding.

Regards,

Ivy
