Using Access database on multiple computers simultaneously

Not familiar with access at all, someone built us a database. Its a split database it is currently on one computer and we want to get it on 3. I tried copying the front end and putting it on another computer then moving the back end to one drive and linking both front ends to the backend on onedrive. I keep getting error messages before getting to the switchboard about macros and misspelling. I am not sure what's wrong or what I could be doing wrong. I moved the original file to onedrive now the database is not working at all. I am currently doing a system restore on the computer in hopes that it will put things back where they were so the database at least functions on one computer. Not sure how I can make this work. I desperately need help!!!

A Trusted Location is a folder that you have indicated is to be trusted. This can be done in the Options settings of your Access application.

In order for your users to connect to the database, you must give Create/Read/Update/Destroy permissions on the folder.

Each user should have their own local copy of the frontend. The frontend can be installed anywhere you'd like on the user machine, but Documents is typically a good place. You'd have to set that as Trusted Location also.

The backend needs to be on a Network shared folder. To see where the backend currently resides use Linked Table Manager.

Once you have found the back end, Put a copy into a network shared folder. Then make a new copy of the front end and relinked (using Linked Table Manager) to the network back end. Then copy the new front end (after testing) into a folder on each user's PC (I would not recommend the Documents folder).

Make that folder a Trusted Location. You need to go to the Trust Center under Options to do this.

What exactly is a trusted location? We just have the front end saved in documents for now and a shortcut on the desktop. Should it be in a network folder as well? I also found various older versions of the database saved in different areas and on all the computers we are trying to access the database on. Should i delete these versions?
