Moving data from a column to a row

I have a spreadsheet that contains probably 4000+ line items.  Each item is listed with a name and may have as many as 20 line items under the same name.  I would like to move a column of numbers associated with the same name into a horizontal set of cells that will eliminate the need for multiple line items under the same name.

I copied your macro into the spreadsheet but on a different sheet.

Completely wrong, I think your requirements to manipulate the data are beyond your abilities.

You need to take your time and learn Excel. Rohn has shown many information's and links to sites, you should work through that.

Here is a good beginner tutorial for macros:

Excel Visual Basic Tutorial - VBA Macros Online Training

To execute my macro follow this steps:

    Right-click on the sheet tab

    Choose "View Code"

Within the menu click Insert \ Module

    Paste the following code

    Close the VBA editor

    Press Alt-F8

    Choose the macro

    Click Run

    Andreas,

Yes, as I said previously, I have no experience with Macro's and only limited experience authoring formulas.  Thanks for recognizing that.  I don't have the time to learn VBA, although I would like to when I have the time.  I'm just looking to resolve this one problem with regard to the report and getting it into a better format.

Did you not include the link to where the worksheet link is that you worked on in our last conversation?  I looked on "OneDrive" and don't recognize which worksheet you worked on?

In your instruction to execute the macro, you state "Paste the following code" where does the code come from, where do I find it?

Andreas, Can you give me a final working spreadsheet using this macro?  Obviously I am struggling and do not understand many of your instructions.  If you are unable to give me the completed worksheet with the macro running I guess I will have to end our conversation and move on to someone that will resolve my question.

    Please advise.
