I am having this exact same issue in word. It only happens on one computer in our office. We have about 10. ONLY happens in word when using a document that has restricted form fields. It will only delete the first letter and then nothing. It will not let you type any further. I have found that I can navigate backwards and use the delete key to remove the remainder text, however, then you cant enter any more text into the box. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the product as well as a bunch of other fixes I found online, so far nothing has worked.
backspace in text form field not working.
I'm having issues with word in a document I've created backspace and the return key no longer work whilst filling out text form fields whilst the document is protected. if i back space on the last letter it will only backspace once and the stop. if i place the cursor behind the second to last letter the backspace function works also if i remove protection it works and in safe mode. the return key no longer works either under the same conditions as above.
