Any ideas as to why this is happening? I've tried other browsers besides Chrome, I've cleared cookies/cache, I've used incognito all with no luck.

    Hello JW_FEI,

Thank you for your information. I’d like to confirm with you whether Are you using Office 365 online account? If so, whether issue occurs if you sign in Outlook Web App directly via link https://outlook.office.com/

Please kindly change a different network to see if it can make any difference. Update all browsers, if convenient, use a different device to see if issue continues.

    Kind Regards,

    Anna

    Hello,

I am using a Microsoft 365 Business Standard account. I've tested on other networks an devices and the error persists. I cannot load Outlook Web using the link, I get the same error Repeating redirect detected.

This error began when I enabled 2FA on my account. I was having other issues with MS Teams after enabling 2FA, so I disabled it and I am still having this issue (as well as the on with MS Teams)

    Hello JW_FEI,

Thank for prompt reply. May I collect HAR log from you for checking? You could follow below steps to collect HAR log:

    1. Open Chrome InPrivate mode and sign in Office portal.
    2. On Chrome browser, open Settings -> More tools -> Developer tools.

    1. In Network tab, select “Preserve log”, “Disable cache”, “Hide data URLs”, then click “Clear” icon to clean up all existing session entries:

    1. After done, enter Outlook URL (https://outlook.office.com/) and try to reproduce the issue.
    2. After issue reproduced and error emerged, right-click session pane and select “Save all as HAR with content

To protect your privacy, you can upload HAR file in Private Message for me to check: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/privatemessage/inbox

    Kind Regards,

    Anna

    Hello JW_FEI,

Thank you for your information, we did find 500 HTTP error, and recommend you check how many admin roles have assigned to your account. You can let admin removing additional admin roles in admin center and check the result again : About admin roles

For if one account has too many roles, the size of JWT token is bigger than 4K. OWA reuses JWT token data to set OpenId Connect authentication cookie. Because of the JWT size, the overall cookie length exceeds 4K, and some browsers, e.g. Chrome and Safari, don't set the cookie at all. The old Edge and Internet Explorer allow setting cookie value longer as 4k.

You may need to make sure that your account doesn't belong to many of AAD roles as well. These roles are not EXO groups but AAD roles. You could let admin help checking roles membership at AAD Admin Portal or using Azure AD PowerShell.

    $rolegroups=Get-MsolRole | select ObjectID

    $rolegroups | %{Get-MsolRoleMember -RoleObjectId $_.ObjectID | ? {$_.EmailAddress -eq "******@domain.com"}}

The output will just repeat the address of the account as many times as it is a member in an Azure AD Role group, you will not see the actual role groups in which the account is a member.

    Kind Regards,

    Anna
