Excel Restricted Access

hello, 

I have an excel which I worked on a lot, and had restricted access to.

I am trying to give permission to another user but i get the following massage:

you are running a version of microsoft office that does not support full control

attached snipping of the full massage.

I did not had an update prior, and i created this permission from this computer.

after this issue I tried updating office and the issue still occurs. my version is: 2006(build 13001.20266)

I would appreciate any help on the matter on how solving it.

I have 58 query with data on this file, I prefer not to move them to another file, and I am not sure exactly how

    Thanks for posting back.

    Since the issue is likely caused by the specific version of Office. I would like to suggest you send feedback to our related team to report the issue.

    Also, as a workaround, you could uninstall the current version of Office and reinstall the previous version Office.
