I have an x-y scatter plot and the x-axis data is from 1.5 to 3.5. However, Excel added data to the x-axis that isn't there at all - starting from 0 and ending on 4 (instead of 1.5 to 3.5 as the x-data clearly contains). Can this be fixed?
Thanks,
Lexi

So how did you solve it in the end?
Currently am in the same situation, with excel switching values starting from 0 for the X axis and haven't seen/found a solution in months of looking around.
The chart has 8 series, 4 sets with 2 series.
Columnd E is X value for both the series with C and D on Y value.
H is X to F and G Y values, and so on.
On the first series can see that, despite begining at 0, it's being represented starting at 1, so all the graphic is offseted.
Also have added at the end of the series some extra values with same X value, but instead of representing the step between values in same position, adds them after, not caring for the X value, but just for the count of values (only if repeated values, if not repeated represents em propperly even if not in order, though still with the 1 offset).
Either this is what OP means he is having, or just hasn't formated the graph axis, or what he wants (me also) is a way to set a formula for axis max/min values, relative to the used values, but only seen some explanations with macros, that never managed to make work.
