Thank you for your reply and information. It seems that you have a content type in your list, and you would like to display the ID for these content type item as well in display Form view.
Based on my test, the content type seems it can’t gather the ID information with calculated column which it is display a zero in the calculated column as you mentioned in latest reply. Hence, calculated column might be not suitable
in this scenario.

Previously, most of users can create a new custom form view to enable the ID column in SharePoint designer by adding code.

Unfortunately, Custom Form creation feature is disabled in SharePoint Designer since 3:00 AM UTC on Saturday, April 25, 2020 by Microsoft. However, we could be able to achieve this by Microsoft PowerApps as a replacement for this
purpose.
