I am using the latest version of Excel and Onedrive, my Excel is connected to Onedrive (business), but recents do not show.  They show for local and network drives, and I can pin them, but they won't appear or be searched for otherwise.  Please advise how this can be changed.

Thanks Madoc.  See below.  Am signed into sharepoint and onedrive business but none show in Recent.  Other files show in recent from my C drive, AND my personal onedrive, but not business.

    Hi sssbbb,

    Thanks for your update.

Based on the screenshot, you’ve already updated Office to the latest version.

In this case, you can try these suggestions to sort his out.

    1. Perform Office Online Repair to reset Office to the initial state.
    2. Start Windows 10 clean boot and open Office to check the result in case the issue related to some third-party programs.
    3. If the issue persists, let’s assume the issue is occurred on the Office client. We recommend you use the Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant (SaRA) to uninstall Office (because uninstalling Office from Control Panel> Programs and Features will retain some preferences and personal settings), then re-install Office from Office.com.

    Best regards,

    Madoc

    Thanks Madoc

Before I reinstall everything, which will take a while, could you just confirm please that this definitely works for others in the same scenario?

    Regards

    Simon

    Hi sssbbb,

Sorry for my late response as I was out of the office for a few days.

I can understand the cumbersomeness of trying these suggestions. And I can fully understand your feeling towards the issue.

We are also not sure what exactly caused the problem. The suggestions I provided above are just for reference. In most cases these are the last resort.

In addition to those methods, you may try to create a local Windows user or administrator account in case the issue related to a corrupted user profile.

Thanks for your time and patience.

    Best regards,

    Madoc
