Hello - The solution proposed works in that content can be moved into SharePoint with active links. However, the solution populates the content into a list. The final destination for the content is into a comprehensive document management library (DML). One column we are using in the DML is the "name -linked to document" field, which I believe can be resolved through formatting in the EXCEL sheet prior to uploading. I am now researching moving the imported links from the list to the DML and mapping the columns/fields while retaining the said active links (content easy...links not so much).
Bulk Upload of links into SharePoint
Windows 10 / O365 Enterprise / SharePoint Hybrid
I am building a SharePoint intranet site. We have a document library, in which I am posting links rather than actual content (pdfs, etc.) The links are active connections to our document management application and ensure that the end users get to most current version of the controlled document. There are 1000+ documents in the doc mngt app and the administrator captured every single link into an Excel document. Is there a way to mass upload the links into the Sharepoint Library from the Excel document?

Arck,
Can this be done at the SQL DB level with a query and replace instead of powershell at the SharePoint level?
