Upload Failed Message - Sharing Excel file

Hello,

Please see image...this happens occasionally when sharing an Excel 365 filewhether I share a file using share links or share a file with my team on Microsoft teams.  It just happened again when on one computer the user selected Data Refresh All to refresh several Power Queries, and while it was refreshing, the other user was trying to enter data in the the spreadsheet.  But it has happened in other circumstances as well when not doing a refresh.

How can I eliminate getting "Upload Failed Messages" when sharing an Excel file.

thank you

    Hi Craig,

You mentioned that you pay about $12 per month subscription.

With the most close to you described is Microsoft 365 Business Standard for $12.5 a month.

So you can try the above method.

You can also get your subscription refer tothis article.

    Regards,

    Jason

    Hi CraigCB,

We did a test based on your description, but we did not get an error.

    Here are my steps:

    1. Connect a workbook and share the file to others.
    2. Click Refresh All and edit the workbook on another computer.

Since we can not reproduce the issue at our end so we will give you some general suggestions:

    1. Delete cache in Upload Center

Click on Windows key> Enter Office Upload Center> Click on it to Open> Settings> Delete cached file> Ok.

    1. Save a copy and try editing on the copy to check whether you will also get an error.

If still issue persists, may I know does the issue occurs only with specific file?

    Regards,

    Jason
