    Hi Syed,

    Thanks for posting back.

    We suggest you try this step and check the outcome:

    1.       Go to Excel-> File-> Options-> Advanced-> General.

    2.       Uncheck Ignore other applications that use Dynamic Data Exchange(DDE) box.

    3.       Click Ok.

    If this user still can’t open this Excel object in this worksheet, we would like to know whether he can open other types of object (like Word document object) in this worksheet.

    Moreover, can you insert the same object in a Word document and try to open it at this user’s end? It will help us understand whether the object or the Excel application cases this issue.

    The last, since the version is not up to date, please try to update Office and check the result.

    Appreciate your cooperation.

    Best Regards,

    Ivy

    Hi Ivy,

    Sorry for the delay. Below is our response.

    We suggest you try this step and check the outcome:

    1.       Go to Excel-> File-> Options-> Advanced-> General.

    2.       Uncheck Ignore other applications that use Dynamic Data Exchange(DDE) box.

    3.       Click Ok.

    [Farhan] The issue persists.

    If this user still can’t open this Excel object in this worksheet, we would like to know whether he can open other types of object (like Word document object) in this worksheet.  [Farhan] There are mostly excel attachments in these worksheets.

    Moreover, can you insert the same object in a Word document and try to open it at this user’s end? It will help us understand whether the object or the Excel application cases this issue. [Farhan] We cannot insert as we need  to open and save the object, instead we did copy and paste in word, even then it didn't work.

    The last, since the version is not up to date, please try to update Office and check the result. [Farhan] We updated the office to the latest. Issue persists.
