Excel 2019 - Cannot Edit Horizontal Axis Labels

Hello,

I'm having some problems in trying to label the x axis on a table.

The chart displayed the correct points needed. However, the axes displayed is the number of data points (which is about 1500 points) instead of the chosen x axis data, which is supposed to be in the range of 0-30 seconds.

I tried to edit the horizontal axes labels in the select data source window, but the option cannot be clicked.

Does anyone has a way out of this?

One more thing: could the x-values be text values that look like numbers?

    Select the x-values range.

Make sure that it is formatted as General or as Number.

On the Data tab of the ribbon, click Text to Columns.

    Select Delimited, then click Finish.

    Does that make a difference?
