I am unable to insert a chart in PowerPoint, whenever I click the chart button in the insert tab nothing happens. I am using this to create a chart that corresponds to a table in the same PowerPoint. Please help.

Thanks for sharing the requested information. Since the Office apps are up to date and not able to insert the charts into PowerPoint, can I know whether you performed Online Repair? If no, can you please give a try and check the outcome.
If problem persist after Online Repair, can you please provide the screenshot of Account page as below?
