Enable multiplayer mode for minecraft java (Microsoft account)

Hi!

I have just bought minecraft for my daughter. Windows 10 - Java edition. 

We cant understand how to enable the multiplayer option. 

It says check settings for the microsoft account, but we cant find where to do this when logging into either my (family account) or her microsoft account.

We really need help here.

I am John, an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you. I'm here to work with you on this issue.

To manage the settings you need XBox Family Settings app.

  1. Sign in to the app with an organizer’s Microsoft account, and then do one of the following to get to Settings:

-Select the tile for the member you want to manage, and then select the Settings icon in the top-right corner of the Family screen.

-Select the Settings icon at the bottom of the Family screen, and then select the tile for the member you want to manage.

  1. Select the Multiplayer tile and turn Allow off or on.

    Hi i tried this but i cant find the settings button. I only have an options for minecraft, how can I turn on my multiplayer.

    Hello,

    I want to play Minecraft JAVA edition on Multiplayer... But my account migrated to Microsoft. At my microsoft it says my father made an Microsoft family account, but at his it doesnt... So he cant delete me from the family so i can do stuff at my own.

    How can i fix this...
