Selecting multiple files to upload from local folder to the sharepoint library using "CTRL" does not work

Users on our site cannot select and upload multiple documents using the Upload button to a document library. They were able to do so before last week using the "CTRL" and multi-select files. Something has changed and I cannot figure out how to get it working again. Drag and Drop multiples files is working fine. Can someone please assist to fix this issue.

Thanks in advance!

    Hi spatel_30,

Thanks for writing back with us.

To view switch option, please try to go Administrator side: Admin Portal> Admin Center> SharePoint Admin Center> Settings check the site default experience.

Also please refer to this article and see the result. Cannot see links Exit classic experience or Return to classic SharePoint

    Hi Waqas,

The sharepoint site for my organization is not a SharePoint site. Rather it is SharePoint On-premise. Is that the reason I am unable to the change the experience from Classic to Modern?

    Hi spatel_30,

Thanks for writing back with us. As we are in SharePoint online category and your using SharePoint On-premise server, we suggest you please post a question to Microsoft Q&A for expert help.

The reason I ask you to post a new thread is that we have limited resources and very little knowledge about SharePoint On-premise server environment and in the above mentioned forum, you will get the most qualified pool of respondents.

I appreciate your patience and understanding.

    Best Regards

    Waqas Muhammad
