Ji,

I wish to avoid to prompt the psw each time I open a db, so I searched for a method to do so

I can't find the option in File > Info

How can I go on?

What type of database is this, mdb or accde? Are you using uls?

Did you encrypt the database in the first place?

Do you have the full version of Access or just runtime?

What is your current Access build no.?

Could they prompt be to enter s password for your backend, hence why you don't have the option in your front-end?  What type of backend are you using?

That screen shot shows an unencrypted accdb. Note that the option is "Encrypt With Password", meaning that it hasn't yet been set.

If you have one that is encrypted with a password, the option would be to remove the password instead.

In addition, when you change encryption (on or off), you must first open the accdb in exclusive mode.

I've opened in Exclusive mode, and then i inserted the psw. It's strange I don't have this possibility

    "...this possibility" meaning what?

You opened the accdb in exclusive mode. You inserted the password. What is left?
