Ji,

I wish to avoid to prompt the psw each time I open a db, so I searched for a method to do so

I can't find the option in File > Info

How can I go on?

Microsoft 365 and Office | Access | For home | Windows

What type of database is this, mdb or accde? Are you using uls? it is accdb, i'm not using uls

Did you encrypt the database in the first place? I encrypted in this way

Do you have the full version of Access or just runtime? full version

What is your current Access build no.? Build 13328.20356 Click-to-Run

Could they prompt be to enter s password for your backend, hence why you don't have the option in your front-end?  What type of backend are you using? I don't understand this, sorry

The problem is that i enter a password to access the db, but i can still see the “Encrypt with Password” button in the backstage view and “Set Database Password” dialog box.

If it's just covered by psw, why is he giving me the choice to put one?
