Office 365 - Excel Power Query Not working properly (display issue)

Hi I'm encountering a display (navigation) issue re: Office 365 excel power query. I have the latest version of office 365 yet whenever I open "queries and connections" and "power query editor", texts are not displayed properly and the navigation panes are not shown. (see screenshot below). 

This all happened after the March Windows update. (Perhaps the issue is something about the display driver which I'm not knowledgeable of)

Appreciate anyone who will be able to fix this issue. Thanks!

    Hi Lou de Guzman,

    Thank you for the update.

    You mentioned "my current workaround to be able to use power query is to open excel in safe mode", the problem might be related to some add-ins. You can try disabling all add-ins in the application first, and then enable each add-on separately to find out which one caused the problem. The steps are as follows.
