Overwrite pivot table conditional format based on row label

Hi,

I want to know if it is possible to overwrite pivot table conditional format based on a specific row label text.

At the moment, I have these rules....

The formatting for the last 3 has the same colour for "fill" & "font" because I don't need the numbers visible.  So it currently looks like this....

But I want to be able to amend the format based on the row label, e,g if row label starts with "ABS" then it formats a different colour.  So that it looks more like this.(Note, I had to do this manually by having to manually select each "ABS" line and format each one individually).

Is it possible to create a formula within the conditional formatting rules to achieve this?

I've tried a few things but none have worked yet so any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,

    Hi MRB,

We appreciate that you posted back and confirmed the situation with us.

For your original question about how to overwrite pivot table conditional format based on a specific row label text, as Chitrahaas mentioned above, the formatting of the cell will be blank and if both conditions are true, so we’re afraid that there is no out of box way to achieve your requirement directly.

However, we found VBA code may achieve your requirement. We will help you move this thread to related category, and engineers in related team will try their best to help you.

    Thank you for your understanding!

    Best Regards,

    Sukie
