Use Power Automate to create hyperlinks

Hi Everyone

I'm trying to create a flow that works like this: every time someone adds a new file to a document library in SharePoint, the flow creates a hyperlink to it in a sister document library. Each time I try to do this I find that the functions I use do not have dynamic content and I'm struggling. Any help would be gratefully received.

Cheers

Paul.

Ok I just can't get this to work. I thought it would be simple but even though the flow states that it is running I can't find the link anywhere.

All I want to do is when a file is put in a library create a hyperlink to it in a separate library. Is this not possible?

    Hi Doctre_P,

Thanks for sharing updates with us. As you mentioned, "AlI I want to do is when a file is put in a library create a hyperlink to it in a separate library. Is this not possible?" You can then use create item to create the new item in your other list?

Result: Shown in separate library  list.

I appreciate your patience and understanding.

    Best Regards

    Hi

All this is good except that I don't want the link in a list, I want it as a "file" in the library, only instead of it being the real file it's the link. Can this be done automatically?

    Thanks

    Paul.

    Hi Doctre_P,

Thanks for writing back with us. Based on my test I cannot achieve link in separate document library instead of  list.

I searched a lot to find the related information, but I couldn’t find any. To avoid any incorrect information from our side, please if you don't mind we’ll suggest you post in Microsoft Power Automate Community for expert assistance.
