Hello everyone,

I need your help please.

Are there any simple methods to fill the values between two different cells in same column with equal increments starts with lower cell value and reach the last upper value of cell.

Any formulas, tricks?

    B8:  70

    B12: 76

    B9: =B8+($B$12-$B$8)/(ROW($B$12)-ROW($B$8))

    drag down

Do I have to do this every time with multiple values in columns and rows?

Yes. But since the number of cells between each number is the same we can use a trick to make it a bit easier:

Apply the formulas into the cells A2:A5 as I suggested.

Select A2:A5 and remove the $ from the formulas using Search&Replace

Copy A2:A5, select A7 and paste. Select A12 and paste... etc.

    Andreas.

    > ... Are there any simple methods..

Hi. With your 365, I would just apply the formula given to a worksheet function.

In your 2nd example, I just placed the linear reg (LR) formula in F2 instead of D2.

Note that I don't believe this will work on a mobile device unless you copied/paste the values to be used in a table later.

Notice that you do not have to drag down the formula in A2 & F2.

    Thank You

You all making this community better.

But this formula of linear reg is absent in my Office 2021 Professional Plus.
