Hi

I have a computer in which when trying to import data to excel from a pdf file it does not show me the Navigator window.

It shows me a window with the formula but does not take the next step.

I have performed the repair and reinstallation of Microsoft Office

    Hi,

I have finally managed to solve it, the problem was in the installation of Adobe DC.

After installing the 32-bit version of Adobe DC, everything started working correctly.

I don't know if it's because it's 32Bits or because Adobe DC has been reinstalled.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Thank you for posting your query in our community.

Based on your description, when you try to import PDF file in Excel, the Navigator window will not pop up. I tested it on my side, however, there was no problem.

To check whether the issue is related to the specific file, or the Excel application, could you please try to import from a simple PDF file to see if the problem happens again?

Additionally, could you please provide a screenshot of your Office Product Information(open an Office application>File>Account>capture a screenshot of the Product Information column)

    Best regards,

    Jazlyn

    Hi,

When importing from a pdf file, the Navigator window does not appear, it jumps to the Power Query Editor.

If the file is opened on another computer with the same version of excel, it opens correctly.

It is not a single file, it happens with any file.

    Change the MCode manually to

    =Pdf.Tables(File.Contents("C:\Users\ etc. \file.pdf"))

If that doesn't show tables, the pdf can not be imported.

    Hi

    thanks for the reply.

When changing the Mcode, the tables appear

but I need you to show me their content first.

It is very strange since it happens with any pdf file.

I am thinking on uninstalling Office, clearing the registry keys and reinstalling Office...
