Access 365 automatically creating a Backup database file bug?

Is this an Access bug or a new feature?

I have decompile and compile and Compact and Repair. Still....it is creating a backup. Still no luck.

Opening and closing will delete the backup file automatically.

Compact and Repair will create more backup database files. I had to delete them manually.

Some of my database don't have issues. Some do.

See pic attached below. Look at the number with accdb file extension.

    Stacey,

Online, local repair - no dice.

Uninstall and reinstall - no dice.

One interesting point, if I move/copy the database to an existing network share folder, it did not produced the error.

Second point, base on older compact & repair database do not produced the error. (That is, previous database files was on a old laptop is compact & repaired do not show any error. Those not compact & repair shows error.

Third point, create a new blank database show this problem. (backup database file with numbers)

By any chance, is there an issue with Intune, JumpCloud and One Drive that will cause conflict for Access 365? Out IT is controlling all hardware and software that might block Access 365 functions.

I have even might sure the files and folders have full access rights, still no luck.

To add further, I discovered that Word and Excel also created the same issue of backups just like Access. No issue for PowerPoint yet.

This is definitely on Office 365 64bit error.
