OneNote on Ipad can not sync with error code E4010690 c12qc and one of my notes is not reachable

Dear MSFT community,

After updating to the recent IOS on my IPAD and my Mac (Ventura), my OneNote can not sync on my ipad.

One of my notes is not reachable which is very key for my business. I can not delete onenote since I cannot reach to the document online via office 365 either.

Can you please suggest a way to save my document on my ipad. I was mostly updating the document on my ipad with hardwriting. So I cannot be sure which was the latest version synced to my drive.

I use onenote on my company exchange. Note was on my personal drive. When I try to reach the document on my personal drive, I receive error message: "Sorry there was a problem, and we can't open this notebook."

Thank you

    Dear Anil,

Thanks for writing back to us and sharing the detailed information with us.

Considering you are using personal OneDrive and engineers in this category mainly focus on Microsoft 365 for Enterprise, for you to be assisted properly, we will help you move the thread to the proper category so engineers there can further support you with the related product support experience and test environment resources.

    Dear John,

Many thanks for your quick feedback.

Even if I wrote down this request in my company e-mail, onenote subject to this topic is stored in my personal drive: a_******@hotmail.com. So reporting through my company admin may not work for this case. Can I please receive personal support on this directly from Microsoft agents?

Just to explain the current situation. There were two pages with same name. Second one was not reachable, so I removed it. Now, neither of them is reachable on my IPAD.

Is there any way to recover "deleted pages" on IPAD OneNote application? Can you provide remote support for my IPAD, it is super critical for me.

    Thank you

    Dear Anil,

Good day, and thanks for posting in the community.

To my understanding, your OneNote can’t sync on your iPad after updating your IOS on iPad and Mac (Ventura). Also, you cannot access your notes via OneNote giving an error code E4010690 c12qc.

If the above description of the problem is correct, for the situation you encountered we do understand the inconveniences caused and apologize for it. We understand the notes is quite important to you.

Considering, that you cannot access the notes via OneNote for web and encountered an error message, we’re afraid the issue may need to be checked and resolved from back end.

Given this, we would suggest you contact your administrator to raise a ticket from Microsoft 365 Admin Center and contact Microsoft 365 Online Support, as there are support engineers who are ready to help check the issue from the background. This would be the most efficient way in handling this case for you.

For reference: Get support - Microsoft 365 admin | Microsoft Learn      How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin?

And for the notes which have not been synced on iPad, we suggest you copy them to other place (for example, Word document) to backup them.

Your patience and understanding are highly appreciated. Stay safe and have a nice day.

    Sincerely,

    John| Microsoft Community Moderator
