Unable to edit shared Excel files on SharePoint

Dear Community,

Beginning from Tuesday (27th September) my organisation have problems with Sharepoint’s Excels. Three out of hundreds online files are some-kinds corrupted.  When trying to write/edit something into cell we receive this information:

„There was a problem executing your request.

Please try again in a few minutes.”

Those files used to work correctly, size is between 300-4000 KB so nothing outstanding.

We have tried to re-upload them to Sharepoint with deleted columns and rows from tables (to make size even smaller). Hoever all actions ended with the same result.

It is worth to mention that one of those file seems to be stuck on „Loading…” stage with long green bar which never goes away (in the right bottom corner).

Any ideas how to solve those issues would be much appreciated.
