Hello,

Macros which were working just fine two days back when I last ran then no longer works.

1. Upon opening the macro enabled .xlsm file I now see the following message:

2. I have thereafter gone and checked the Trust Center and selected the following options as was the case previously:

3. Following is the message I receive:

I have checked at the macro is viewable via vb in the file and have reassigned it. Still no success.

4. Finally, have tried running the individual macro vs. via the button and get the following message:

More importantly - I am having this issue with other macro-enabled excel files. Would greatly appreciate any assistance. Thanks.

    Are your macros digitally signed?

    Hi Avinash,

Thank you for posting your query in our community.

Per your description, all the macro files do not work on your side.

If you check below options, will the same problem happen?

File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > Trusted Documents > Check the Allow documents on a network to be trusted check box.

File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > Macro settings > check Enable VBA macros check box.

If the problem persists, there is another scenario: The system administrator has set a security policy to disable a certain type of active content for your organization (for example, Disable all macros without notification). In this case, if you open a file with macros, and data connections, the file can't be trusted because the macros are disabled when the file opens.

To check it, may I know whether your colleagues have the same problem? And if you open the Excel file from another device (not your work device), will the same problem happen?

    Best regards,

    Jazlyn

    Hi Jazlyn,

Thanks for checking in. I did try what you had suggested and the problem continued. I also checked with other colleagues and none are experiencing the issue.

Therefore I have contacted my IT desk and they are looking into it.

    kind regards,

    Avinash.
