adding a mail-enabled public folder to a distribution group in office 365

Trying to forward mail from a distribution list to a mail enabled public folder. When I try to add the public folder as a member, it cannot find it. I can send a email to the public folder but I cannot seem to get to allow the distribution list to do it.
