Scheduled Flow - using Week

I have created a scheduled flow and tested it. Everything works great until I tell it to start at a certain time with the cadence being every 2 weeks. The start time will not work when *Frequency is set to Week. If I set it to Hour or Month the initial run occurs as expected. So frustrating. Is this a bug? Thanks for any insight on this issue.

Update - when Interval is 2 and Frequency is Week the flow runs on the 'Start time' given if 'On these days', 'At these hours', and 'At these minutes' are blank. So, possibly you cannot tell it when to run on subsequent weeks it uses the Start time (day and time) for the next run? Any insight into this is greatly appreciated :)

    Dear Lacey,

Thanks for your updates and letting us know the current situation in your environment.

May I know whether you just test the flow by clicking on Test>Test Flow>Manually? If yes, no matter you set the add hours and minute or not, the next action such as sending an email will be triggered immediately as a test result.

Regarding "Adding ‘On these days’ Tuesday – no email sent at 7:18 a.m. (Start time)", do you mean that no email is sent after you click on Test to test the flow? If yes, it may be an issue in your environment and I can't reproduce the issue in our environment. If it is convenient, I suggest you contact the administrator to open a support ticket to our related team as soon as possible so that they can help you further investigate the issue.

As another suggestion, I suggest you clear the browser cache and create a new flow to see if the email can be sent after you add the hours and minutes in the newly created flow.

Thanks for your effort and time!

    Sincerely,

    Cliff | Microsoft Community Moderator

Thank you! I will see if the Admin will open a ticket.

You do not have to wait 2 weeks. The issue is with the Start time. If I set a day, hour, minute (or combination) the Flow will not initiate at the Start time - remove entries for day, hour, minute and the Flow will start based on the Start time. So, you should be able to test this immediately. Does your Flow initiate on the Start time when day, hour, minute are set for a Week interval?

    I greatly appreciate your help!

    Dear Lacey,

Thanks for your updates and I understand your current feeling in your environment.

Based on my previous tests, the flow works in my environment and currently I haven't found some incidents in Power Automate by involving some resources.

However, I'll test again in my environment based on your setting with two weeks. It may take long time to show the result from my side.

If it is convenient, I suggest you create a new flow with setting hours and minutes in the trigger at your side to see if the issue disappears at your side as well.

Meanwhile, it may be a specific issue from your side. You can also contact the administrator in your company if you aren't the administrator and let him open a support ticket to our related team via the steps in the following article. They may further check the environment with you and try to find the root causes of the issue in your environment as well. Get support for Microsoft 365 for business

I appreciate your understanding and effort.

    Hi!

Thanks for the reply! Yes, I have also tried setting the time zone. Here are some screen shots. The next step sends an email to me which is how I check the flow.

^Email sent at 7:13 a.m.  (Start time) *I suppose the system defaults to the current time zone (Central) since this appears to work the same as not specifying a time zone. It has not been a week for any of my tests so I have not confirmed if the above will repeat in two-weeks on Tuesday at 7:13 a.m. without setting the On these days, At these hours.

^Adding ‘On these days’ Tuesday – no email sent at 7:18 a.m. (Start time)

Do you know if the sample you provide above will run at the Start time when you have On these days, At these hours set?

If this is a bug or I am using the parameters incorrectly, it would be great to know so I don't spend more time trying to figure out what is going on :)

    Thanks!

    Dear Lacey,

    Generally, it should work.

Could you set the flow trigger to run at a specific time such as the following and see the result? Meanwhile, check whether the time zone in your environment is correct.

Welcome to share any updates when you have time if you need further help on this issue.

Thanks for your effort and time!

    Sincerely,
