SharePoint Migration Tool - Incomplete Migration

We've migrated data from a network drive using the SharePoint migration tool. The run appeared to have completed successfully but not all data has migrated. The permissions were the same for the missing data as for the migrated data. Why does this happen?

    I understand your concern but to my knowledge, the situation you are facing can be caused due to the SharePoint Online limits such as File/Folder names, File paths, File/Folder size limitations, or timeout connectivity issues, here are references on restrictions and limits:
