Microsoft Office android app automatically closes after 15-20 seconds, how to correct it?

I have reinstalled the app and it worked yesterday smoothly afterwards but today it is again behaving in the same way. It shuts after 10-15 seconds.

As you mentioned the issue didn't happen before, it seems start after a recent update, the issue may be related to the recent update. The best way to troubleshoot the issue further is reporting it to the related team, they have higher permission to collect logs when Microsoft Office automatically shuts and then investigate it from back end, find root cause of this issue.

Considering that Microsoft 365 administrator has right permission to contact related team, therefore, we sincerely recommend you let your Microsoft 365 administrator follow steps in this article with admin permission, raise a support ticket and contact Microsoft related team.

The support team has higher permission and more resource than us. The more reports they received from different customers, the more likely they will be able to find something affects users in common, do investigation and fix it. This would be the most efficient way in handling this case for you.

1. I m using it for over more than 2 years and never this issue happened before. Its for the first time after the recent update. It started on last Wednesday.
2. I don't know if others are facing this issue.
3. Android version is 10

Are you using "Microsoft Office" application? Or are you using Word application?

We tried testing on an Android phone and didn't reproduce the issue. To better help you and narrow down the issue, we'd like to collect following information.

1.Did it work in previous? If yes, when did the issue start to happen?

2.Do other users in your organization have this issue? We want to narrow down if it is a tenant wide issue.

3.May I know your device Android version?
