How to make a copyable string of text in the cell instead of the option to copy the formula

I’m using the & symbol to combine information from columns of text into strings that occur in another column which will be file names for many different files. I need to be able to then click on the cell having the combined string of text and copy not the formula in the cell, but the actual text. How can I do this?

    Dear Postingnow,

    Thanks for your updates.

If you can share some screenshots about how you copy and paste the cell value into a file name and Word, it may be helpful for us to confirm the issue symptom in your environment.

You can click on Reply>Insert image to provide the screenshots.

Note: Remove any private information before uploading the screenshots.

Thanks for your effort and time!

    Hi Postingnow,

I have checked all the conversation in this thread. It seems that you are not satisfied with the current copy/paste behavior in Excel.

If you are still concerning about extra steps required to paste the text, you can consider use query to load the end result of your worksheet into a new worksheet and then copy/paste it to Excel/Word. As query result loaded into your worksheet is always TEXT format and doesn't shown as formula, you can avoid copy/paste the formula.

Hope this may help you a bit😊
