I'm pretty new to Excel and notice it doesn't have "Ctrl + Shift + V" as a default shortcut. Is there a way to assign this specific action to this shortcut? I previously tried using Microsoft Visual Basic but it keeps giving me an error, can you guys help me out?

    Well I'm using Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2304 Build 16.0.16327.20200) 64-bit.

    Also I already figured out of how assigned specific command.

    All I have to do is type Alt+F+T >> Customize Ribbons >> check Developer under Customize the Ribbons box >> click OK >> Go to Developer >> click Visual Basic >> Go to insert >> then module >> then type:

    Sub PasteValue()

    If (Application.CutCopyMode = 1) Then

        Selection.PasteSpecial Paste:=xlPasteValues

    Else

        ActiveSheet.PasteSpecial Format:="Unicode Text"

    End If

    End Sub

    >> Close Visual Basic >> type Alt+F8 >> select PasteValue >> go to options >> then insert Ctrl+Shift+V >> and click OK

    There you have it.

    Is there a way to do this so that it carries over for all excel files you open or create?

    Hi,

    You indicated that you are using 365 in windows so:

    As of 2022 Ctrl+Shift+V is a default assigned shortcut key it is "paste plain text"

    As of 2007 Ctrl+Alt+V became the shortcut key for Paste Special
