Predictive Text in MS Word is Missing

Question

MS Word Predictive Text is missing.

I have:

Microsoft 365 Family Subscription

Already reinstalled it.

Updated it.

My Surface 8 has it.

My laptop does NOT have it (this is the problem)

Yes, I know where it was supposed to be in either the status bar (not there) or in files/options, etc. etc.

My name is Louis and I am an independent Advisor.

Please try the steps below.

Click “Text Predictions” in the status bar to open its setting directly in your Microsoft Word options. You can also navigate there with File > Options > Advanced.

Under Editing Options, check the box for “Show Text Predictions While Typing” to enable the feature and click “OK.”

Already knew about that. It's there in my tablet, but not on my laptop. Right clicking it shows it doesn't exist there either.

I am running Microsoft 365 Personal on a Windows 11 laptop and I see the option for text predictions at File > Options > Advanced.

I don't know why it is missing on your system.

Which operating system are you running (not sure that it would make a difference)?

Still on 10. I don't know, that might be it. I did upgrade from 10 to 11 on my Surface.
