How to show object behind text on Microsoft PowerPoint 365 ? semi-transparent callout shapes including its text ? for very visible comments but still show content behind

How to show object behind text?

As-Is, text within shapes cannot be semi-transparent; for very visible comments but yet show content behind them.

My workaround is mulitple steps

  1. copy text
  2. paste as picture
  3. set transparency

    Text can also be made transparent:

    Select the shape and in the Format Shape dialog box, click Text Options then choose the A icon on the left (see picture) and set the text fill to whatever degree of transparency you like.

    That's not possible, I'm afraid. At least not without many steps that would make the text un-editable.

    Thanks, I agree with you .

    However, this is for where text does not need to be editable.

    Example is to identify which version on PDF which has comment ability but not like a Rubber Stamp.

    The need for semi-transparent text is to show content behind them like following screenshot:
