Hello, I would like to understand how could I upload data using an Excel into SharePoint List?
If there is a way, how would it work? Would it overwrite the data already existing on SharePoint List?

SharePoint allows me to do that only I'm going to create a new list

I appreciate your collaboration, thanks in advance

This did not work for me. All data was pasted into the first cell...

Try copying from Excel to Notepad and then copying again from Notepad to Sharepoint. I've been using this method for all sorts of things for a very long time. Often, wherever you copy from has additional formatting that may not be visible. Notepad doesn't support any special formatting, just plain text, so pasting onto there assures that any unnecessary formatting is removed.

Hello! I figured it out! You just have to click the left cell once, if you click it twice it will go into text format and will only paste them in one cell.

because you used the big +Add New Item Blue coloured button at the top. You need to use the '+add new item' that appears at the bottom of the list after you click Edit in Grid View. Simply use CRTL/V after you click the add new item link and data will paste.

OK, I keep editing this. In my production environment the limit is 10 rows. In my development environment the limit is 37 rows. Be careful. You might think you duplicated 10,484 records, and for some indecipherable reason, you actually got 712.
